Kids in the Kitchen
The Junior League of Charlottesville will host a day of cooking, hands-on activities, fitness demonstrations and education as part of their international childhood obesity and nutrition education initiative, Junior League’s Kids in the Kitchen. Sponsored by the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), the event will take place on March 24, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Albemarle High School cafeteria. There will be a dance station, a plant your own herbs station and many more fun activities for the kids. ACAC, The Little Gym, Ragged Mountain Running Shop, The Happy Cook, UVA Health Systems and Whole Foods are all fully sponsoring booths. All children and parents are invited to attend free of charge.This year's event will also feature a fun for kids ages 3 to 10! Sign-up online for specific times and more information!
