Introduction
 
다윗은 심각한 죄를 짓고, 많은 고통을 받았지만, 하나님의 은혜로 승리하는 삶을 살았습니다. 그 이유가 무엇일까요?
David did a seriously evil thing and suffered greatly, but he was eventually victorious in his life. What made him victorious?
 
다윗은 하나님을 경외함으로 다스림
David ruled in the fear of God
 
다윗은 압살롬이 다윗의 왕좌를 빼앗으려고 할 때 그에게 맞서지 않았습니다. 왜냐하면 다윗은 방어보다 하나님의 뜻이 더 중요하다고 생각했기 때문입니다. 그는 이렇게 하나님을 경외했고, 그 뜻에 순종했습니다.
When Absalom was against David’s throne, he did not defend himself. That is because he thought God’s will was more important than his own defense. He had feared God this way and obeyed God.
 
하나님의 영원한 언약을 신뢰함
David trusted in God’s everlasting covenant
 
다윗은 매우 어려운 상황에서도 하나님의 영원한 언약을 믿었습니다. 이 믿음이 그로 하여금 고난 중에도 바르게 생각하고, 말하고, 행하도록 했습니다.
David trusted in God’s everlasting covenant even in very difficult situations. This faith encouraged him to think, talk, and act right before God.

하나님을 경외하고, 그 언약을 믿으십시오. 하나님께서 당신을 승리하게 하실 것입니다.
Fear God and trust in His covenant, and God will lead you to be victorious.
