- Celebrate the anniversary of the Monroe's arrival at Highland in 1799 with free admission for residents of Albemarle and the surrounding counties (Augusta, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, Orange and Rockingham).

- Visitors will be treated to a visit with President Monroe. Ash Lawn-Highland.  

- Directions: 1000 James Monroe Parkway. Take Route 53 from Route 20 near I-64, 2.5 miles past Monticello on Route 795.  11am-5pm.
