엘리사의 사환 게하시에게 나병이 들었습니다. 왜 이런 일이 일어났을까요?
Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, was leprous. Why?
게하시의 행위와 문제
What did Gehazi do and why was it wrong?
게하시는 엘리사 모르게 나아만에게 좇아가서 새로 온 선지자의 제자를 위해 예물을 요구했습니다. 그는 나아만에게 치유에 대한 대가를 요구하는 것이 마땅하다고 생각했습니다.
Gehazi followed Naaman and asked for silver and clothes for the new disciples without his knowledge. He thought that it was reasonable to ask for a reward for curing his leprosy.
하나님의 은혜에 역행하는 게하시의 행위
Gehazi’s working against God’s grace
게하시는 엘리사의 사역을 돕기 위해 나아만에게 예물을 요구했다고 하더라도 그것은 하나님의 은혜에 역행하는 결과를 가져왔습니다. 은혜는 세상의 사고를 뛰어넘습니다.
Even though Gehazi asked Naaman silver and clothing for Elisha’s ministry, it was against God’s grace. His grace is beyond people’s thoughts.
하나님의 은혜를 누리려면
To enjoy God’s grace
하나님의 은혜를 누리기 위해서는 자신이 복음에서 자주 떠날 수 있다는 사실을 기억하고, 복음이 무엇인지를 민감하게 깨닫아야 한다. If you want to enjoy God’s grace, you should remember that you may have fallen away from the gospel and strive to recognize what the gospel is.
