My huous will be called a house of prayer for all nations
막 11:15, 그들이 예루살렘에 들어가니라 예수께서 성전에 들어가사 성전 안에서 매매하는 자들을 내쫓으시며 돈 바꾸는 자들의 상과 비둘기 파는 자들의 의자를 둘러 엎으시며 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
성전은 기도하는 집이다. 하나님을 만나는 장소이며, 하나님과 소통하는 곳이다. 하지만 사람들은 성전에서 매매하고 돈을 바꾸고 비둘기를 팔았다. 당시 상황으로 볼 때 이런 일들은 성전 제사를 위해 필요한 기능이었다. 하지만 그로 인해 본질을 잃어버렸다. The temple is a house of prayer: a place to meet God and to communicate with God. People were, however, buying and selling, changing money, and selling doves there. Looking from surroundings at that time you can judge that these things were necessary, but people forgot the essence of the temple.
코로나 바이러스로 인해 교회의 모든 기능이 멈췄다. 개인적으로 기도하는 일 외에 다른 어떤 목적으로도 교회당을 사용할 수 없는 상황이 되었다. 하나님께서 코로나19라는 채찍을 들어서 교회 안에 있는 상과 의자를 둘러 엎으신 것은 아닐까? The functions of the church building stopped due to COVID-19. 많은 사역으로 바쁘던 일상에서 조용히 하나님 앞에 기도로 나가는 신앙의 회복이 필요한 시점이다. 시간이 있다고 기도할 수 있는 것은 아니다. 기도의 훈련이 필요하다. 이 기회에 기도로 나를 훈련하자. 기도에 관한 책을 집었다.
