Hi Ms. Mi Suk Harris and Mr. Jongho Sonn,

Michael Wang here. I was given your names by Edward Yu and Pastor IJ Kim respectively as the people to contact in regards to KCCIC.  I am an employee at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) here in Charlottesville, VA. I am contacting you in regards to your association with the KCCIC so that you can pass on a message for me.

This coming May is the National Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and we are organizing a Asian Pacific American Heritage month cultural observation set for 20 May, 2015 from approximately 1300 - 1500 (1pm-3pm). I am on the organizing committee for this and wanted to invite you and your organization to come and be present; participating by send representatives from the local community to represent your organization here at the NGIC observance.

We are in the planning stages for this and we have already secured our primary guest speaker, Mr. Jer Donald Get, a member of the Senior Executive Service and Executive Director of Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) to come and talk to us about diversity and Asian Americans Military Legacy. This year's theme is "Many Cultures - One Voice: Promoting equality & inclusion". If interested, Mr. Get's bio can be found here:

We would like to offer your organization the chance to come setup a table with representatives to come and engage with our employees and then to stay to hear our guest speaker. We would love if you and your organization decided to come participate in our observance to increase the visibility of your organization and raise awareness among our community here at NGIC. We would be able to accommodate up to three US citizens to come on base with materials (posters, pamphlets, etc.), cultural items, and/or food samplings, which you might want to bring to represent your culture and organization and would like to share with our community.

Please let me know if you would like to participate with us in recognizing the contributions of Asian Pacific Americans to our Nation's heritage and we can discuss further details. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thank you!

Michael L. Wang
