Monticello Offers $5 Tickets to Celebrate 25 Years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
In 1987, Monticello and the University of Virginia's Academical Village were together named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Monticello is the only U.S. presidential and private home on the UNESCO list. To celebrate 25 years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Monticello is going back to 1987 ticket prices for five days in December.
